Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role is essential in providing support, education, and therapeutic interventions to enhance the quality of life for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
- Provide direct care and support to children and individuals with behavioral health needs.
- Document and maintain accurate medical documentation of client progress and behavior.
- Educate clients and their families about behavioral strategies and techniques.
- Assist in behavior management by identifying triggers and implementing positive reinforcement strategies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills in behavioral therapy and special education practices.
Requirements
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques and behavioral health principles.
- Familiarity with medical documentation practices related to patient care.
- Strong communication skills to effectively educate clients and families.
- Ability to manage challenging behaviors with patience and compassion.
- Background in special education or related fields is a plus.
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is required or must be obtained within a specified timeframe.

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
