Ro Health is currently hiring Behavior Technicians and Paraeducators to support within San Francisco. You will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and autism. Your enthusiasm and dedication will empower clients to achieve their personal goals while fostering an inclusive and engaging environment. You’ll work closely with a team of professionals to implement behavior intervention plans, promote skill development, and enhance the overall quality of life for those you serve.
What you’ll do
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans tailored to each client’s needs.
- Support clients in developing essential life skills through structured activities and positive reinforcement.
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to ensure a cohesive approach to care.
- Monitor client progress and document behavioral data for analysis and reporting.
- Assist in the development of educational materials and lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Provide guidance in classroom management techniques to foster a productive learning environment.
- Engage in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills.
Basic qualifications
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, staff, and school administrators.
- Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities in educational or therapeutic settings.
Preferred qualifications
- Background in early childhood education or special education.
- Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and behavior management strategies.
- Knowledge of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and their implementation.
- Classroom experience
- Hygiene, Toileting, and Restroom support across all age groups
