Overview
We are seeking a fully licensed, independent Psychologist, Therapist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our mental health care team. This role offers an opportunity to provide comprehensive psychological services across diverse populations, including children, adults. Our clinic accepts insurance and the goal is to provide mental health care access to people who truly need it.
This is an independent contractor role. You will keep percentage of collections.
We will provide bookings, EMR and Billing.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in clinical counseling, behavioral health, and patient assessment, with a strong commitment to delivering compassionate and evidence-based care. The position emphasizes autonomy in clinical decision-making.
Duties
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans utilizing clinical research and evidence-based therapies.
- Provide psychotherapy modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis, and crisis intervention.
- Offer specialized services such as child & family counseling, PTSD care, addiction counseling. working with people who have food allergy.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions and conduct intake assessments for new patients.
- Manage medical documentation accurately using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations and medical terminology standards.
- Collaborate with medical professionals on integrated care plans involving psychopharmacology and diagnostic coding (ICD-9/ICD-10/ICD coding).
REQUIREMENTS
- Fully licensed as a Psychologist, Therapist, or LCSW with independent practice authority.
- Proven experience in psychotherapy techniques including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis, and crisis intervention.
- Strong background in child & family counseling
- Familiarity with EMR systems, medical documentation standards, HIPAA compliance, CPT coding, ICD-9/ICD-10/ICD coding for diagnostic evaluation.
- Excellent communication skills for individual/group counseling sessions and interdisciplinary collaboration.
