Job Overview

In this role, you will implement individualized behavioral therapy plans, support patient assessments, and assist with data collection to promote positive growth and development. Duties

  • Implement behavioral therapy interventions tailored to each client’s treatment plan, focusing on skill development and behavior reduction.
  • Collect, record, and analyze data related to client progress, ensuring accuracy and adherence to confidentiality standards such as HIPAA.
  • Assist with patient assessments, including intake procedures and diagnostic evaluations, to support comprehensive care planning.
  • Support clients during therapy sessions by providing patient care that promotes safety, comfort, and engagement.
  • Maintain detailed medical documentation, records, and reports in compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with clinicians, educators, and families to ensure consistency in treatment approaches across settings.
  • Participate in ongoing training related to behavioral health, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), special education strategies, medical terminology, and behavioral health best practices.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of behavioral therapy principles and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
  • Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
  • Ability to collect and interpret data accurately for progress tracking and treatment adjustments.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and experience handling sensitive medical records securely.
  • Excellent communication skills for working effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, patient assessment procedures, and diagnostic evaluation processes.
  • Compassionate attitude combined with patience and resilience when supporting individuals with diverse needs. Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
