Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Virginia school district is seeking a full-time, onsite School Psychologist to support students through comprehensive evaluation services and active participation on the districts Mental Health Support Team. This role requires close collaboration with school social workers and other student support professionals to address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations in compliance with state and federal guidelines
Prepare clear, timely evaluation reports and documentation
Serve as a contributing member of the districts Mental Health Support Team
Work closely with school social workers and multidisciplinary teams
Support data-driven decision-making and intervention planning
Participate in eligibility, IEP, and team meetings as required
Qualifications:
Valid Virginia School Psychologist licensure
Strong proficiency in evaluations and report writing
Experience working within school-based mental health teams preferred
Ability to commit to a fully onsite assignment
Position Highlights:
