Psychology Program Manager

Experteer Overview As Psychology Program Manager you lead complex clinical, training, research, or administrative programs at the Oakland Behavioral Health campus. You shape strategic plans, manage day-to-day operations, and optimize resources to deliver high-quality services for Veterans. You supervise multi-disciplinary staff and drive data-driven quality improvements aligned with policy and accreditation requirements. This role offers meaningful impact through program development, performance management, and cross-team coordination. You will help advance the facility’s mission to improve Veteran care through evidence-based practice and strategic leadership. Compensation / Benefits • Oversee operation and management of key clinical, training, research, or administrative programs • Strategic planning to meet Veteran needs and align with the program's goals • Allocate and supervise administrative and programmatic resources • Develop and implement programs, policies, and procedures meeting goals, policy, and accreditation requirements • Monitor outcomes using data-driven QA and drive improvements • Supervise multi-disciplinary staff and/or trainees Tasks • GS-14 level: at least three years of professional psychologist experience, with at least one year at the GS-13 level • Ability to organize work, set priorities, delegate tasks, and meet deadlines • Knowledge of evidence-based practices and clinical guidelines with ability to guide staff • Ability to engage with diverse individuals and groups • Experience directing work to achieve program goals • Ability to translate goals into coordinated operations • Ability to monitor production and performance priorities • Ability to analyze problems and implement solutions for program operations Key requirements •
