We are seeking a highly motivated and professional Licensed Counselor or Therapist (LPC, LMFT, or LCSW) to join our team of excellent mental health clinicians. This is an independent contractor position in which the therapist is paid a flat rate per appointment. Positive Living provides everything the therapist may need, including a fully furnished office, access to therapy notes, administrative support, etc. We also provide funding and resources for marketing and networking efforts (SEO, social media marketing, networking events, etc.) but we require the therapist to collaborate with us to build their own caseload. This includes participating in team meetings, creating videos to use on social media, attending networking events, and connecting with referral sources. This position does require caseload building, thus we are looking for someone who is willing to put in the effort to grow with us and eventually have a full caseload (20-30 sessions per week).
Our ideal candidate is a seasoned therapist with specialized training and experience in working with couples and families, as well as individuals. We are looking for a therapist who is passionate about helping couples and families navigate challenges and develop healthier relationships. A therapist who specializes in Sports Psychology is also considered an ideal candidate. As a therapist at Positive Living Psychotherapy, you will have the opportunity to work with diverse clients and collaborate with a supportive team committed to excellence in mental health care.

- Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
Qualifications:
- Master’s in Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy or Social Work, or Doctoral degree in Psychology or a related field.
- Current license in Georgia as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist (PsyD or PhD)
- Experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families in a clinical setting.
- Strong understanding of family systems theory, proficient in research based methods such as Gottman, Imago, etc., and emotion focused relational dynamics.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth.
