  • No patient caseload: Focus exclusively on clinical supervision and mentorship
  • Professional development: Access to ongoing training opportunities and supervisory resources
  • Supportive environment: Join a collaborative, mission-driven team dedicated to clinical excellence

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervision & mentorship: Provide weekly clinical supervision to up to 4–6 unlicensed or associate therapists, supporting clinical skills, ethical practice, and professional growth

  • Compliance: Ensure supervisees adhere to California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) laws, regulations, and ethical standards
  • Documentation review: Review and approve supervisees’ clinical documentation for accuracy, quality, and compliance
  • Team collaboration: Participate in occasional team meetings or case consultations to support overall clinical operations

  • Hold a current, active California license in good standing, with no suspension or probation, as one of the following:
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

  • Have held an active license in California or another state for at least two (2) years within the last five (5) years prior to beginning supervision

- Practice Requirements: Supervisors must meet one of the following within the last five (5) years:

  • Have actively practiced psychotherapy for at least two (2) years prior to starting supervision; or
  • Have provided direct clinical supervision to ASWs, AMFTs, MFT Trainees, or APCCs providing psychotherapy for at least two (2) years
