Education Requirement:
A completed Bachelor’s (BA/BS) or Master’s (MA/MS) degree is required for this role.
Preferred fields include Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Education, Child Development, Social Work, or other human services majors.

Compensation:
Pay reflects education level, certification, and ABA experience.

Experience Requirement:
Minimum of 2 years of ABA experience under BCBA supervision required.

Consideration:
RBT, ABAT, or BCAT candidates with fewer than 2 years of experience may be considered if clinically strong and performance-ready.

About the Role
The Behavior Technician (BT) provides direct, one-on-one ABA services to children and adolescents in home, school, and community settings under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

In this role, you will:
Implement individualized treatment plans designed by a BCBA
Use evidence-based ABA strategies including DTT, NET, behavior reduction, and skill acquisition
Collect accurate session data (e.g., ABC data, frequency, duration) to monitor progress
Support skill development in communication, social skills, daily living skills, and emotional regulation
Collaborate with caregivers and clinical team members to promote consistency and skill generalization
Maintain ethical, professional, and compassionate care aligned with BACB standards and company policies

Behavior Technicians at Nurture & Nature ABA receive ongoing supervision, mentorship, and training and are supported with balanced caseloads within a 20-mile service radius to promote quality care and clinician sustainability.

Role Summary- As a Behavior Technician, you will:

  • Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in home, school, and community settings
  • Implement individualized programs under BCBA supervision
  • Use evidence-based strategies: NET, DTT, PRT, FCT
  • Support communication, social, and adaptive skill development
  • Collect accurate data and maintain documentation
  • Collaborate with supervisors and families to support progress

  • Early Intervention (Ages 2–5): Play-based therapy using PRT and naturalistic ABA
  • Infant Development (Ages 0–3): Sensory integration, communication, and caregiver coaching
  • In-Home & Center-Based ABA: DTT, PRT, and FCT interventions
  • Adaptive Skills Training: Independence, hygiene, community safety, daily living skills
  • Social Skills & PEERS®: UCLA-based groups promoting confidence and friendships

What We’re Looking For

  • Must hold a completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree . A background in Psychology, Education, Social Work, or a related human-services field is preferred.
  • 2 years of direct ABA experience under BCBA supervision, supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel within a 20-mile radius
  • Ability to pass FBI & DOJ background checks and TB testing
  • COVID-19 vaccination may be required by certain partner schools/organizations

Nice to Haves

  • Current RBT, ABAT, or BCAT certification
  • Enrollment in or completion of a Master’s program in ABA, Psychology, or related field
  • Bilingual (Spanish, ASL, or other language commonly spoken by client families)
  • Familiarity with data collection platforms (CentralReach, Catalyst, Rethink)
  • Experience in school-based or clinic-based ABA settings
  • Knowledge of PRT, NET, DTT, or FCT interventions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Cultural responsiveness when working with diverse families
  • CPR/First Aid certification
  • Interest in career growth toward RBT or BCBA roles

Schedule & Availability

  • Start Part-Time, with a pathway to Full-Time based on your availability and client needs
  • Minimum 15 hours/week
  • Peak hours: Weekdays 2:00–8:00 PM (some morning/early afternoon shifts available)
  • Full-Time requires open availability: Mon–Fri 8:00 AM–8:00 PM, Sat 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
  • Maintain stated availability for at least 4 months for client consistency
  • Service area: In-home sessions within 20 miles of your primary home ZIP

Physical Requirements- This is an active, engaging clinical role!

  • Stand, kneel, and move throughout sessions
  • Lift up to 30 lbs
  • Engage in active play and movement with children

Bachelor’s Level $23.00-$29.00
Masters Level $26.00-$32.00 (Master’s must be in Psychology, Education, ABA, Social Work, Child Development, or a related human-services field to qualify for the MA pay tier)
