Positions available in South Bay for RBT (someone already holding a Registered Behavior Technician Certification) and in central San Diego for an experienced BT

We are hiring all levels of Behavior Technicians who aspire to do something that matters in a community that cares. What will you do?

As a Behavior Technician, you will work 1:1 with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) teaching them skills through play based techniques. You’ll be teaching, collaborating, and creating a positive environment where kids can live their Best Life!

• Teach individuals with autism to talk, play, make friends, and function independently, while helping reduce any inappropriate behaviors.
• Implement natural environment teaching using a verbal behavior approach.
• Collect data to demonstrate each client’s progress toward reaching his or her goals!
• Collaborate in clinical team meetings to report client progress and get specific feedback from the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification? Let's talk!
• Experience with individuals with Autism/disabilities through family, friends, or work is a plus!
• You can pass a criminal background check and TB test
• You'll be driving to clients' homes, so you have a reliable form of transportation

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
