Overview
We are seeking dedicated and experienced individuals for 3 positions: (Program Director / QMHP / CSAC) to lead and coordinate mental health and behavioral health services within our organization. The ideal candidates
will possess strong clinical skills, leadership abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of mental health treatment modalities. This role involves overseeing program operations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and providing high-quality patient care across diverse settings, including community, hospital, and home environments. Duties
- Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of mental health programs aligned with organizational goals.
- Provide clinical supervision and support to staff, ensuring adherence to best practices in psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and case management.
- Conduct patient assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and trauma-informed care including PTSD management.
- Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions addressing mental health issues, addiction counseling, family dynamics, and crisis management.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding, and other medical record standards.
- Oversee intake procedures, patient care coordination, and ensure timely data collection for research or quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with hospitals, community agencies, schools, and other stakeholders to provide integrated home & community care services.
- Ensure staff compliance with confidentiality standards and participate in ongoing training related to medical terminology, behavioral health protocols, and crisis management strategies.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of psychotherapy modalities including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavior management, and crisis intervention techniques.
- Proven experience in child & family counseling, addiction medicine, mental health counseling, and behavioral health treatment planning.
- Strong understanding of medical documentation practices including ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding, HIPAA compliance, and medical records management.
- Skilled in diagnostic evaluation processes using ICD coding systems; capable of conducting comprehensive patient assessments.
- Expertise in case management with a focus on individual/group counseling tailored to diverse populations.
- Ability to manage crisis situations effectively while demonstrating excellent crisis management skills.
- Familiarity with research methodologies related to behavioral health data collection and analysis.
- Excellent communication skills for multidisciplinary team collaboration; leadership qualities for program oversight; compassionate approach toward patient care.
