Associate Psychiatric Counselor - FT - Anaheim - Onsite Only

Experteer Overview In this role you provide supervised clinical social work services to adults, children and families in both inpatient and outpatient settings, collaborating with families and other health care professionals. You develop action plans and therapy approaches, manage crises, and maintain thorough documentation. You work with cross-functional teams to support patient care and psycho-education, contributing to continuous improvement and community resources. Compensation / Benefits • Conduct initial interviews to assess needs and urgency • Recommend course of action and therapy plan • Provide clinical case management across settings • Deliver immediate guidance during emotional or psychiatric crises • Maintain and share therapy notes, reports, and communications with relevant parties • Provide telephone counseling and referral services • Participate in CQI/OD-related activities • Provide psycho-education within treatment context Tasks • Master of Social Work or related Behavioral Health master's degree • License/Registration: Registered Associate Clinical Social Worker (California) or Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (California) or Associate Professional Clinical Counselor Registration (California) • Completion of supervised hours within specified timeframe and licensure within 2.5 years (timeline requirements) Key requirements •
