Internship Description
Reports to: Program Director
Title: Intern for DSP: Rehabilitation Services, incl. OPWDD HCBS Waiver (Day Habilitation , Pre-Vocational Services, Pathway, SEMP, Respite) and ACCES-VR
General Duties: List of Tasks that Interns are expected to perform with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Intern(s) will have weekly supervision with the program director.
- Intern(s) will facilitate individual and group virtual meetings with individuals in their respective field.
- Intern(s) will assist individuals in setting and achieving goals and steps toward goal attainment.
- Intern(s) will assist in facilitation Life Plans/LP, Staff Action Plans/SAPs for OPWDD services, as well as vocational services through ACCES-VR, e.g., Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS), Assessment Services, Employment Preparation Services, Job Placement Services, Supported Employment Services, Adjunct Services
