The Service Coordinator plays a vital role in managing and coordinating service operations within the organization. This position involves scheduling and overseeing service technicians, ensuring timely completion of service requests, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction in fire protection services.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule service calls for technicians based on urgency and availability.
- Maintain communication with customers regarding service appointments and updates.
- Ensure all service requests are documented and prioritized effectively.
- Assist in the training and supervision of service technicians and inspectors.
- Manage inventory and ensure that necessary tools and materials are available for service operations.
- Collaborate with the project management team to support ongoing projects and service agreements.
- Review and process service reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Foster strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional service and support.
- Proven experience as a Service Coordinator or similar role in the fire protection industry.
- Strong knowledge of fire protection systems and relevant regulations (NICET, NFPA, etc.).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook for scheduling.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with customers and technicians.
