The Registered Behavior Technician is responsible for providing applied behavior analysis-based services. Services include providing behavior support and intervention to reduce challenging behaviors in a social recreation (Out of Home Respite Program)
The RBT would be supporting Individual’s at the program site/and or community settings as assigned using crisis intervention as needed to protect clients and/client safety.
Your Role & Responsibilities –
- Documentation of behavior observation and incident reports
- Assisting Direct Support Professionals in methods for delivery and documentation of individual Behavior Support Plan and instructional plans.
- Crisis intervention as needed to protect client and/or student safety.
- Delivering client behavior and learning programs with fidelity and as designed.
- Attendance in staff meetings is required and other assigned meetings assigned
- Maintaining current RBT status.
- Protects client confidentiality, including written records or reports, per requirements.
- Protects client welfare and best interests at all times, to include assistance with advocacy, medical, personal, social needs and other individual client needs.
***Please note that in this position, you will not be obtaining RBT Supervisor hours; however, an RBT Certificate is required. ***
Qualifications –
- Valid RBT Credential.
- One-year-related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination in in with special needs and experience working with individuals.
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), preferred Associate of Arts.

$30.00 Hourly
