The ideal candidate enjoys working with students, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is excited to help transfer students navigate a smooth, informed path to enrollment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Serve as an ambassador of Elmira College at Community Colleges and transfer student recruitment events;
  • Maintain a caseload of applicants and guide them from inquiry to enrollment;
  • Conduct virtual and in-person information sessions, including weekday, evening, and occasional weekend events;
  • Review and monitor application files and ensure timely communication with students about required materials and next steps;
  • Represent the institution at college fairs, transfer fairs, community college visits, and other recruitment events;
  • Use the institution’s CRM (Slate) to manage student records, monitor funnel data, identify outreach opportunities, and maintain accurate notes and communication logs;
  • Support major campus events such as Open Houses, Accepted Student Recognition Day, and orientation programs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree, required;
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines;
  • Comfortable presenting to groups and engaging with diverse populations;
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel;
  • Experience in admissions, higher education, or student services, preferred;
  • Familiarity with transfer credit processes and community college pathways;
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Slate preferred);
