Position Summary
The Service Lane Coordinator plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional service experience while developing the skills needed to become a full-time Service Advisor. This position is designed as a training and development role, providing hands-on experience in customer check-in, service lane operations, and repair order preparation.
The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and believes that outstanding customer service is non-negotiable. This role is foundational to the success of the service department and directly supports our advisors, technicians, and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Experience & Lane Operations
- Greet service customers promptly and professionally upon arrival
- Assist with vehicle check-in and ensure a smooth, welcoming service lane experience
- Park and retrieve customer vehicles efficiently and safely
- Actively support Service Advisors during peak times, including every Saturday
- Service Advisor Training & RO Preparation
- Prepare pre-writes to support Service Advisors
- Write all internal repair orders
- Write all Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) repair orders
- Learn proper service write-up procedures, documentation, and customer communication
- Support advisor workflow to improve overall shop efficiency and productivity
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional service lane
Training & Career Path
This is a Service Advisor in Training role. High performers will be developed and considered for advancement into a full-time Service Advisor position as skills, performance, and readiness are demonstrated.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
