About Us
Haven ABA Center & Calhoun Consulting, LLC is a small, Doctor-owned Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) provider serving children and families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in the greater Bothell area. We pride ourselves on maintaining reasonable caseloads, consistent/weekly BCBA support, and a collaborative, supportive culture where every team member’s contributions are genuinely valued. Our practice intentionally serves clients with low rates of severe challenging behavior in order to promote staff safety and work-life balance.

Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to deliver high-quality, 1:1 ABA services under the ongoing supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This position offers extensive training, daily clinical support, and weekly trainings.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized ABA treatment plans developed and supervised by a BCBA
  • Provide direct 1:1 intervention in clinic, school, and community settings
  • Accurately collect behavioral data throughout the day
  • Assist with skill-acquisition programs utilizing Discrete Trial Training (DTT), Natural Environment Teaching (NET), and errorless learning procedures
  • Implement behavior reduction protocols with fidelity under BCBA supervision
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings & trainings
  • Maintain timely and professional clinical documentation in compliance with BACB requirements

Required Qualifications & Credentials

  • Have a sincere interest in working with children, adolescents and adults with an ASD diagnosis
  • Have a positive, patient and professional attitude
  • Have a willingness to be an active team member as well as work independently
  • Detail orientated and multi-tasking abilities
  • An active Behavior Technician Certificate through Washington state – required prior to first day of employment (we can assist with helping connect you with an online course to get this certificate
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to pass criminal background check and abuse/neglect registry checks (per Washington State DSHS and insurer requirements)
  • Reliable transportation and clean driving record (travel within Snohomish/King County required)
  • Availability for full time day-shift hours Monday–Friday in Bothell, WA.

Preferred Qualifications (NOT REQUIRED)

  • 6+ months of direct ABA experience
  • Knowledge of Discrete Trial Training, Natural Environment Teaching and Errorless Learning

Job Type: Full-time

Work Location: In person (Bothell, WA and surrounding communities)

Schedule: Slight variations based on client needs; advance notice provided - but availability to these hours is a must

  • Monday–Thursday: approximately 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Friday: approximately 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
