Are you passionate about working with children and making a meaningful impact every day? The Linden Center is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Behavior Technicians to join our dynamic team!
As a Behavior Technician at The Linden Center, you'll work one-on-one with children ages 2–8 who have developmental disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder. Your role will be to support their growth through individualized behavior plans and engaging, play-based learning.

Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior support plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Track and document progress using data collection methods
- Use positive reinforcement techniques to encourage learning and skill-building
- Support children in reducing challenging behaviors
- Collaborate effectively with families and interdisciplinary team members
- Maintain a safe and nurturing environment
- Follow all safety protocols and principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years old
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Reliable transportation, valid Michigan driver’s license, and a satisfactory driving record
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to meet physical demands of the role (e.g., lifting up to 50 lbs)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in ABA, psychology, child development, education, speech-language pathology, or a related field
- Experience working with young children and/or individuals with disabilities
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification, or willingness to obtain
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification
