Are you passionate about working with children and making a meaningful impact every day? The Linden Center is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Behavior Technicians to join our dynamic team!

As a Behavior Technician at The Linden Center, you'll work one-on-one with children ages 2–8 who have developmental disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder. Your role will be to support their growth through individualized behavior plans and engaging, play-based learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized behavior support plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Track and document progress using data collection methods
  • Use positive reinforcement techniques to encourage learning and skill-building
  • Support children in reducing challenging behaviors
  • Collaborate effectively with families and interdisciplinary team members
  • Maintain a safe and nurturing environment
  • Follow all safety protocols and principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 18 years old
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Reliable transportation, valid Michigan driver’s license, and a satisfactory driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the role (e.g., lifting up to 50 lbs)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in ABA, psychology, child development, education, speech-language pathology, or a related field
  • Experience working with young children and/or individuals with disabilities
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification, or willingness to obtain
  • Current CPR/First Aid Certification

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
