Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team both full time (salaried) and part time (1099). The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in behavioral health and applied behavior analysis, with a focus on providing high-quality services to children and their families. As a BCBA, you will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and implementing effective behavioral interventions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate behavioral needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with healthcare professionals and stakeholders.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations to identify behavioral issues and recommend appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators and therapists, to ensure cohesive care for clients.
- Implement applied behavior analysis techniques to promote positive behavioral changes in children.
- Provide training and support to parents and caregivers on behavioral strategies and interventions.
- Monitor client progress through regular assessments and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in behavioral therapy and special education.
Requirements
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Strong knowledge of patient assessment techniques and experience working with children is essential.
- Familiarity with medical records management and behavior terminology is preferred.
- Proven experience in applied behavior analysis, special education, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to develop rapport with children and families while demonstrating patience and empathy.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
