The Psychiatrist for Street-based Services evaluates, diagnoses, and treats high-need, homeless individuals in a street outreach setting.

• Develops and monitors treatment plans, including low-barrier medication prescriptions.
• Performs in-person assessments and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintains documentation and ensures quality care, responding to emergencies as needed.
• Works in dynamic environments, visiting clients at tents and encampments.
• Qualifications include board certification, licensure, experience with severe mental illnesses, and comfort with harm reduction approaches.
