Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated ABA Behavior Technician to support individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. In this role, you will implement behavioral therapy plans under supervision, assist with patient assessments, and contribute to improving the quality of life for our clients. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with children and individuals with disabilities, with a strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles. Scheduling
- Our scheduling hours are between 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Monday - Friday.

Duties
- Implement individualized behavioral therapy programs based on ABA principles to promote skill development and reduce challenging behaviors.
- Collect and record data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments.
- Assist with patient assessments, including intake procedures and diagnostic evaluations, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Support patients during therapy sessions, providing patient care and ensuring a safe, supportive environment.
- Maintain detailed medical documentation and records, including progress notes and treatment plans, adhering to confidentiality standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and modify intervention strategies tailored to each individual's needs.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development related to behavioral health, special education, and medical terminology.
Skills
- Experience with behavioral therapy techniques, especially applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Prior work with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder.
- Strong data collection skills for tracking client progress accurately.
- Knowledge of special education practices and working within behavioral health frameworks.
- Ability to work effectively with people with disabilities in a patient, respectful manner.
- Familiarity with medical documentation, medical records management, and basic medical terminology.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members, families, and clients.
- Compassionate attitude with a commitment to improving client outcomes through patient-centered care.
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week
