A school district in the San Marcos, CA area is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to provide essential support within a K-8 educational setting. This contract position will offer 37.5 hours per week, five days a week, during the current school year.

Qualified candidates must hold a valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential in school psychology. Experience working in K-8 environments is highly valuable, as the role involves supporting students academic, social, and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for K-8 students to identify learning and developmental needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and provide intervention strategies.
  • Implement evidence-based practices to support student mental health and academic success.
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with all state and federal regulations related to student services.

Location: San Marcos, CA supporting K-8 schools within the district.
