Child Behavior Technician (Entry Level)

ERA Behavioral Solutions, Inc. is currently seeking caring and enthusiastic individuals to work with children diagnosed with Autism and other developmental disabilities. We provide extensive job training to all our employees and do not require any experience, license or certification to get started. Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Provide oneonone ABA interventions in various settings (in child's home, centerbased, and/or school setting)
  • Implement behavior intervention plans under the guidance of BCBA supervisors
  • Collect and record data based on client behavior to demonstrate client progress in reaching goals in place
  • Ethical conduct and utilize discretion when handling confidential information

Requirements – (Entry Level):

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to work parttime on at least 3 weekdays (2:30pm7:30pm) & Saturdays OR 4 weekdays (2:30pm7:30pm)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Reliable transportation to and from work (w/ active auto insurance and registration)
  • Ability to commute around Los Angeles County for work
  • Ability to provide negative TB test results
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check (FBI & DOJ fingerprinting)

Preferences/Advantages:

  • Exposure to individuals with Autism through family, friends, or work experience is a plus!
  • Currently enrolled in university within psychology or related fields or graduated from university with a psychology (or related) degree
  • Fluent in Spanish or Armenian
  • You enjoy working with children and young adults
  • You’re creative, kind, hardworking, and patient
  • You can help children achieve their learning goals!
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), Board Certified Autism Technician (BCAT), Applied Behavior Analysis Technician (ABAT), or Senior Behavior Therapist (2 years of experience in ABA) is a plus! But NOT required.
