About The Role

We’re looking for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who’s passionate about empowering patients and improving access to care. In this role, you’ll conduct comprehensive intake assessments for new patients, identifying medical, behavioral, and social needs that inform personalized care plans.

You’ll collaborate closely with our Chief Operating Officer and our patient advocacy team to ensure each person receives holistic, compassionate, and coordinated support. Your expertise will help shape how Pairtu delivers behavioral health within an advocacy-first model of care.

This is a remote position, open to candidates based anywhere in the United States.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct intake assessments and psychosocial evaluations for new patients in line with Pairtu’s care guidelines.
• Identify medical, behavioral, and social determinants of health (SDOH) that affect outcomes.
• Collaborate with the Chief Operating Officer and advocate team to develop actionable, patient-centered care plans.
• Serve as a behavioral health resource and advisor for advocates supporting patients with complex needs.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the Pairtu platform.
• Provide feedback on workflows, tools, and services as we continue to refine and scale our model.

What You Bring

• Active, unrestricted LCSW license in at least the state of California (additional state licenses strongly preferred).
• 3+ years of independent clinical experience.
• Strong understanding of DSM-5 and evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
• Experience working with patients who have both behavioral and medical complexity.
• Deep empathy, strong communication skills, and the ability to turn compassion into meaningful action.
• Comfort operating in a fast-moving, remote, and mission-driven environment.
• Experience with telehealth or startup settings is a plus.
