A school psychologist position is available at an elementary school in Novato, CA, serving one school within the Twin Hills Union Elementary School District. This contract opportunity runs from ASAP through the end of the school year and requires approximately 16 hours per week.

Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive student assessments, such as ERMHS (Educationally Related Mental Health Services) evaluations and Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs). This role supports students with the goal of identifying and addressing their psychological and educational needs to foster academic success and emotional well-being.

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid PPS (Pupil Personnel Services) credential in School Psychology.
  • Experience administering and interpreting student psychological assessments.
  • Strong understanding of behavioral interventions and mental health services in school settings.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and families to develop individualized support plans.
  • Familiarity with conducting assessments specifically at the elementary level.

This role does not include district-provided supervision, so candidates must be comfortable working independently while maintaining clear communication with school staff. The interview process will be conducted via Zoom and involves a panel format, allowing for a thorough discussion of your experience and approach.
