This role is vital in supporting students academic achievement, emotional well-being, and behavioral development through thorough assessments, counseling, and collaboration with educators and families.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations

• Provide individual and group counseling to support student needs

• Develop and implement targeted intervention plans

• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

• Participate in IEP and 504 plan development and meetings

• Monitor student progress and adjust supports as necessary

• Assist with crisis intervention and behavioral management

• Support school-wide mental health and wellness initiatives

Qualifications

• Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator's License

• Experience in K12 educational settings preferred

• Strong skills in assessment, consultation, and intervention planning

• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams

• Commitment to equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive practices
