Master Social Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support and assistance to individuals and families facing various life challenges. This role requires a strong commitment to helping clients improve their well-being through effective interventions, assessments, and case management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess client needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Provide psychotherapy services using evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
• Implement crisis intervention strategies to assist clients in immediate distress.
• Work collaboratively with individuals with developmental disabilities and other disabilities to enhance their quality of life.
• Manage cases effectively, ensuring that clients receive the necessary resources and support services.
• Engage with geriatric populations, addressing their unique social and emotional needs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community resources to facilitate client access to services.
• Document client progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with organizational policies.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution
• Experience in psychotherapy, diagnostic evaluation, crisis intervention, and case management.
• Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities and other disabilities is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of systems theory and its application in social work practice.
• Experience working with children is a plus, as well as knowledge of geriatric care practices.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
