Symbal Education is seeking a passionate and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support one of our partner school districts in Santa Maria, California. The BCBA will play a key role in assessing, designing, and implementing effective behavior intervention programs for students with autism and other developmental or behavioral needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
- Provide ongoing supervision and training to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and paraprofessionals.
- Collaborate with teachers, psychologists, and related service providers to support student success.
- Collect, analyze, and report behavioral data to evaluate intervention effectiveness.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on behavioral goals and strategies.
- Provide crisis intervention support and guidance to school staff when needed.
- Ensure compliance with ethical and professional standards set by the BACB and the district.
Qualifications
- Current BCBA certification (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) required.
- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and families.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour
