Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. In this role, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Your primary focus will be to support clients in achieving their behavioral goals while promoting their overall well-being and independence.
Duties
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA.
- Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress towards goals.
- Assist clients with daily living activities (ADLs) to promote independence.
- Utilize applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to encourage positive behaviors.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with families and other team members to ensure a cohesive approach to care.
- Provide support in various settings, including home, school, or community environments.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and medical records management is a plus.
- Familiarity with applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
- Understanding of behavioral health practices and interventions.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- A compassionate approach towards clients, demonstrating patience and empathy.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
