- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management for patients (adolescent, adult, and/or geriatric populations depending on specialty).
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with therapists, psychologists, and case managers to ensure coordinated care.
- Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation in the EMR system.
- Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development.
- Stay current with psychiatric research, pharmacological advancements, and state regulations.
- Education: M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical school.
- Licensure: Current and unrestricted California medical license (or eligible).
- Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience (residency may count). Prior outpatient or private practice experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based model.
