The position is open to full time and part time candidates as well on a contracting basis. Your Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management for patients (adolescent, adult, and/or geriatric populations depending on specialty).
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with therapists, psychologists, and case managers to ensure coordinated care.
  • Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation in the EMR system.
  • Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development.
  • Stay current with psychiatric research, pharmacological advancements, and state regulations.
Requirements:
  • Education: M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical school.
  • Licensure: Current and unrestricted California medical license (or eligible).
  • Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience (residency may count). Prior outpatient or private practice experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based model.
