We can train you to become a Behavior Technician/RBT/ABA Therapist and further expand your knowledge in ABA with a highly experienced team of BCBAs, Master's Level Supervisors and a licensed Psychologist (Ph.D., BCBA-D).
- We offer in person training, in field supervision, weekly support groups, RBT supervision, and BCBA supervision for those enrolled in a Master's program.
- We offer flexible schedules with plenty of morning hours and opportunities to work in our Saturday Social Skills Group.
BSP is hiring now for positions throughout Orange County, the South Bay and Long Beach. New and experienced ABA Therapists/Behavior Technicians are invited to apply.
BSP is looking for compassionate individuals who want to make a difference. We are hiring both experienced professionals as well as those who have worked with children but may not yet have the skills and knowledge in ABA.
BSP has been providing services under the same family ownership since 2005. Driving your own vehicle to clients' homes is necessary. We also work with clients at school, in the community and at our Clinic in Garden Grove, CA.
Behavior Technicians/RBTs/ABA Therapists provide direct instruction with children. Interventions are evidence-based and focus on natural teaching strategies such as Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT) and other ABA teaching techniques.
Qualifications:
- Prefer Bachelor's degree or higher in Psychology, Special Education or related mental health field; other candidates may qualify with appropriate and equivalent experience.
- Candidates must have prior experience working with children, preferably in early childhood.
- Prior training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and experience working with individuals with autism &/or other developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Candidates will demonstrate knowledge of children's developmental milestones, creativity, good interpersonal communication skills and willingness to learn; as well as a playful, exciting passion for contributing to children's lives.
- As our clients include school age children, flexibility is desirable for client visits Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. and possibly Saturdays for Social Skills groups.
Fluency in Spanish and Vietnamese is a plus.
Candidates must be available to work with our clients in-person.
- REQUIREMENTS for Behavior Technician/RBT/ABA Therapist Position:
- A valid California Driver's License, auto registration and insurance
- A reliable vehicle and be able to drive to clients' homes throughout Orange County, California.
- Ability to walk, run and crawl during interactions with children; ability to lift, move and carry objects weighing up to thirty-five (35) pounds without assistance.
Compensation: Competitive hourly salary depending on experience, training, education and certifications. Paid training, travel time and mileage reimbursed. Employees are eligible for their first raise after meeting Fidelity competencies (typically after 3-4 months of employment).
