Competitive Pay: Salary Negotiable Depending on Experience

Role and Responsibilities

Our CADC will be responsible for the care of assigned clients and will provide group, individual, and family therapies. The CADC will conduct bio-psychosocial assessments, develop Master Treatment Plans, and will assist in coordinating discharge planning.

  • Maintain compliance with applicable local, state and federal regulations
  • Adheres to the center’s philosophy
  • Begins, completes, and documents on the initial treatment plan, master treatment plan, integrated diagnostic summary and treatment plan reviews/updates.
  • Completes screenings and assessments of new clients
  • Responsible for completing the orientation note, initial treatment plan, psychosocial assessment & psychosocial update, educational learning assessment, master treatment plan, progress notes, treatment plan review and Discharge or transfer summary and a discharge note
  • Performs Chart Audits as requested or assigned
  • Develops individualized treatment plan with each client
  • Performs individual therapy with client/family
  • Attends weekly staffing meetings per schedule
  • Shares information with team as obtained from client’s family, or others as indicated throughout program
  • Documents in the medical record on an ongoing basis Provides education to client/family on community resources
  • Assists client/family with appropriate discharge plans
  • Works with administration to enhance the overall treatment environment
  • Demonstrates adaptability and flexibility to changes in the work environment
  • Provides a safe, therapeutic environment for staff and clients
  • Assists in formulating standards for client’s care
  • Supervises all program activities, assuring comfort and safety of the clients
  • Establish rapport, systematically gather data, determine the readiness of the individual for treatment and change, and apply accepted criteria for diagnosis of substance use disorders
  • Screen for psychoactive substance toxicity, intoxication, and withdraw symptoms
  • Screen for danger to self or others
  • Screen for co-occurring mental health issues
  • Analyze and interpret data to determine treatment recommendations and priorities With the individual served, formulate mutually agreed-upon, measurable treatment goals and objectives
  • Demonstrate adherence to accepted ethical and behavioral standards of conduct
  • Participate in continuing professional development

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Full CADC license required
  • Minimum of 2 years working experience in the substance use disorder field
  • Mindfulness training and experience preferred
