Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our dynamic behavioral health team. In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of individualized behavioral intervention plans for children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify client needs and strengths.
- Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans grounded in applied behavior analysis principles.
- Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously to track progress and inform treatment adjustments.
- Provide direct behavioral therapy sessions tailored to children and individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and medical professionals to ensure cohesive care strategies.
- Maintain accurate medical records, patient assessments, intake documentation, and treatment notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Educate families and staff on behavioral strategies, intervention techniques, and progress updates.
- Participate in ongoing training related to behavioral health, special education, medical terminology, and diagnostic evaluation methods.
- Ensure all services adhere to ethical standards and best practices within the scope of behavior analysis.
- Support patient care by conducting functional behavior assessments and developing behavior intervention plans that promote independence and quality of life.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques and behavioral therapy methodologies.
- Proven experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder.
- Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and documentation for clinical decision-making.
- Familiarity with medical documentation procedures, medical terminology, patient assessment protocols, and HIPAA compliance standards.
- Ability to perform intake evaluations efficiently while maintaining sensitivity to clients’ needs.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including educators, therapists, medical staff, and families.
- Experience in behavioral health settings with a focus on diagnostic evaluation processes.
- Demonstrated patience, empathy, and professionalism when working with diverse populations facing various challenges.
- Knowledge of special education practices relevant to supporting students with disabilities in educational environments. Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $85.00 - $100.00 per hour
