Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ABA Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to promote positive behavioral changes. Your expertise in behavioral therapy and experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum will be essential in providing effective support and care. You will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personalized care plans and behavior management strategies.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized ABA therapy programs tailored to each client's needs.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) to promote independence.
- Collect and analyze data on client progress, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Work collaboratively with families, caregivers, and other professionals to develop effective care plans.
- Provide support in behavior management techniques to address challenging behaviors.
- Teach social skills and communication strategies to enhance client interactions.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations regarding patient information.
- Document medical records accurately, including medical terminology relevant to client care.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
- Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities.
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and behavioral health practices.
- Strong understanding of special education concepts and patient care methodologies.
- Ability to effectively teach new skills and concepts to clients.
- Proficient in data collection methods for tracking client progress.
- Familiarity with medical documentation processes and terminology.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with families and team members.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
