Position Summary
We are seeking a Behavioral Technician (also known as a Registered Behavior Technician – RBT) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a BCBA to implement individualized treatment plans, collect data on client progress, and support skill development in communication, social interaction, and daily living.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programs as designed by the BCBA.
- Collect and record accurate data on client behavior and program outcomes.
- Use positive reinforcement and other ABA techniques to encourage desired behaviors.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all client interactions.
- Participate in team meetings, ongoing training, and supervision sessions.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and team members.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or a related field preferred).
- Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred.
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred.
- Strong communication, observation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions, take feedback, and work as part of a team.
- Must pass a background check.
Schedule & Compensation
- Flexible scheduling ( part-time options available.
- Competitive hourly pay: $19-$25 / hour, based on experience and certification.
