Clinical Director (Part-Time, Grow-With-Us Role)

Location: Your City, TX Pay: $48,000–$65,000/yr PT equivalent or $50–$50/hr contract Hours: ~10–20 hrs/week to start (we grow, you grow)

We are a new nonprofit clinic with a mission to make high‑quality autism therapy accessible to low‑income families who are too often overlooked or underserved. With a background as a childcare center for children with autism (known as Spectrum of Love), we believe every child deserves excellent care, regardless of zip code, income, or insurance status. We focus on building real-life communication, emotional regulation, social connection, and independence.

Data matters, progress matters, and outcomes matter — but not at the expense of joy. Our model blends structured teaching with natural play and social learning. Sessions often occur in a 1 RBT : 3 kiddos small-group environment designed to feel like childhood, not a clinic. Relationships lead, skills follow.

Compensation & Growth Path

We’ll keep it transparent: we are still early-stage and growing. This role begins as a Founding Clinical Director / Lead BCBA with part-time hours. Compensation begins once Medicaid and private insurance credentialing is active, and will be released on the first Medicaid reimbursement cycle. You’ll be added to our Medicaid and private insurance applications as the LBA for billable hours.

As caseload grows, compensation and hours scale into a full-time Clinical Director leadership role. You will have a direct voice in shaping treatment models, supervision systems, team culture, clinical structures, or and if you hate the color of the paint on the walls, you can change that too.

What You’ll Do

Our clinic model uses small-group therapy with a 1 RBT to 3 clients ratio to support social learning, play, and natural interactions. Supervise & support RBTs in a kind, human way

• Write and update treatment plans (we keep it functional + real)
• Train staff (not micromanage them)
• Collaborate with families like partners
• Give input on culture, systems, creative ideas
• Help us build a clinic that feels good for staff AND clients

Must Have

• BCBA (in good standing)
• LBA in TX (or able to get it quick)
• 1+ year as a BCBA with demonstrated leadership qualities
• Ability to guide RBTs in a small-group (1:3) learning environment
• Experience with kids on the spectrum
• Communication skills + emotional intelligence
• Must be comfortable with being themselves

Nice to Have (but not required)

• Early intervention background
• Leadership or supervisor experience
• Good memes
• Experience in group therapy or social play interventions
• Interest in helping build systems and culture collaboratively
• Comfort navigating Medicaid processes

Growth Path (Clear + Realistic)

• 5–10 clients Part-Time Clinical Director $48K–$65K or hourly
• 10–20 clients Full-Time Clinical Director $75K–$90K or hourly
• 20+ clients Senior Director / Program Lead $95K–$115K + bonuses
