Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) – Greater San Diego, CA

Salary: $115,000 per year plus incentives, sign-on bonus eligible| Small Caseload | Flexible Schedule

  • Unique Population – Work with dually diagnosed individuals (ages 12–17 or 18+) with developmental disabilities and co-occurring mental health conditions (e.g., autism, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, anxiety).
  • Small Caseload – One residential home per BCBA, allowing for deep, meaningful clinical work.
  • No Travel Required – All services are provided on-site.
  • Multidisciplinary Collaboration – Work alongside clinical psychologists, nurses, administrators, and other experienced BCBAs to create comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Flexible Hours – Primarily 8–5 with some PM/NOC supervision.
  • Administrative Support – Scheduling and paperwork handled by our admin team.
  • Ongoing Mentorship – Collaborate closely with a local Clinical Director, PhDs, and BCBA-Ds.

What You'll Do

  • Provide supervision to RBTs and behavior staff.
  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs).
  • Develop and implement individualized Behavior Support Plans.
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Master's degree with Licensed BCBA Professional in the state of California.
  • Two (2) years' experience providing behavior supports for individuals with IDD and with mental health diagnosis.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in designing, supervising, and implementing behavior modifications.
  • Demonstrated ability to support individuals with behavioral challenges.
  • Competency in writing supports plans and effective verbal communication skills.
  • Capacity to train and mentor others.
  • Ability to perform duties with limited supervision.
  • Flexibility in scheduling and availability for onsite support.
  • Experience in supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) is required.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
