The BCBA will provide person-driven behavior day services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities who have an identified need for additional behavior support.

As the BCBA, you will be responsible for:


Behavior Services

  • Conducts initial and annual functional behavior assessments for all program participants.
  • Designs and implements behavior support plans that are reviewed and updated annually (or as needed) through a person-driven planning process.
  • Provides and documents service hours sufficient to meet program requirements.
Staff Training and Supervision
  • Provides clinical supervision to staff providing 616 Behavior Technician services, including regular meetings, observations, treatment integrity assessments, and follow-up training.
  • Trains direct support staff on proper implementation of behavior support plans; conducts retraining as needed for support plan revisions.
  • Creates, updates, and maintains training materials for required 40-hour behavior-focused staff training; delivers training per program requirements; maintains training records.
  • Conducts regular quality check observations and assessments to ensure procedural integrity of behavior service delivery; addresses performance issues related to behavior service delivery through remediation plans and retraining.
Data Analysis and Documentation
  • Creates, updates, and maintains materials needed for service delivery, including but not limited to: data collection tools, communication tools, visual schedules, etc.
  • Maintains data collection system; conducts weekly data collection audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepares semi-annual (or as needed) progress reports including graphing, analyzing data, and making data-driven clinical recommendations.
  • Maintains complete, accurate, and up-to-date records of behavior plans and services.

Schedule:

  • Full-time, exempt
  • Monday to Friday (8:00 - 4:00 p.m.)

Compensation:

  • Starting at $70,000 - $75,000/annually (dependent upon prior experience and qualifications).

Qualifications:

  • Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good, active standing with the BACB including the 8-hour supervision training certification, required.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience providing BCBA services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in an adult day program, preferred.
  • Crisis Response Management Certification (or obtain within 60-days of hire).
  • CPR/First Aid Certification (or obtain within 60-days of hire).
  • Bilingual Spanish, preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Proof of Criminal Background Clearance.
  • Proof of a passing physical exam and TB clearance.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build trust and connection with participants, families, and team members across diverse backgrounds.
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication, tailored to a variety of audiences and needs.
  • Organized and attentive to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and follow-through.
  • Tech-comfortable, with confidence using Microsoft Office Suite and electronic verification systems.
  • Committed to confidentiality, discretion, and ethical, person-centered practices.
  • Team-oriented and mission-driven, with a strong work ethic and a natural inclination toward collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
  • Ability to stay calm and solution-focused in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong clinical behavior analytic skills including supervision and training of direct support staff.
