True Life is looking for an experienced and compassionate licensed psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team. An ideal candidate has significant experience treating mental health at various levels of care, such as Residential, PHP and/or IOP. This role will primarily be performing as well as supervising individual, group and couple's/family therapy, in addition to oversight of diagnostic assessments and batteries for psychology associates and postdocs. Trauma-informed therapists are encouraged to apply. Theoretical Orientations of: Psychodynamic & Attachment Theories, CBT and DBT, Motivational Interviewing and Family Systems Theory are all considered strengths.
Applicants must have experience in the successful treatment of complex presentations of Depressive Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, and Stress and Trauma-Related Disorders.

Position Overview:
True Life Center is seeking an experienced Psychologist to serve as a full-time Clinician in our integrative, outpatient mental health program. This role will provide individual therapy, family/couples therapy, group therapy, diagnostic testing, and will also support and co-train practicum students and post-doctoral fellows. The ideal candidate has experience with clinical supervision and is passionate about delivering client-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Services: Provide individual, family/couples, and group therapy to clients, utilizing evidence-based practices aligned with True Life Center’s proprietary model of care. Provide diagnostic assessments and testing for patients within the IOP/PHP program.
- Supervision & Mentorship: Co-train and support practicum students and post-doctoral fellows, contributing to their professional growth. Clinical supervision experience is preferred.
- Program Collaboration: Work with the clinical team to develop and refine therapeutic approaches and contribute to a collaborative, client-centered environment based on True Life's integrative care model.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, ensuring adherence to ethical guidelines, state licensing requirements, and True Life Center standards.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Psychology from an APA accredited program
- Active Psychologist license in the state of California
- Minimum 2+ years of post-licensure clinical experience in an outpatient, day treatment, residential, or hospital setting
- Demonstrated experience in psychodiagnostic testing and assessment
- Prior experience providing clinical supervision and mentorship preferred
- Prior experience and oversight of outcome data and research protocols preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership abilities
