Schedule: Part-Time – 18 hours per week (hybrid)

Compensation: $220.00/hour

Position Summary:

We are seeking a licensed Adult Psychiatrist to join our team as a 1099 independent contractor. The ideal candidate will provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to support adult clients with diverse mental health needs.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
• Provide follow-up care and medication monitoring
• Collaborate with therapists, case managers, and other providers
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR system
• Participate in team meetings and case consultations as needed

Qualifications:

• MD or DO with board certification (or eligibility) in Psychiatry
• Active and unrestricted medical license in California
• DEA registration
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with diverse populations is a plus
• Bilingual Vietnamese, Mandarin, or Cantonese preferred

Other Considerations:

• Position can be structured as either a 1099 Independent Contractor or W-2 employee, depending on preference and organizational needs.
• Candidates may dedicate a portion of their weekly hours to onsite patient visits at our San Jose office.
• Hybrid schedule remains flexible based on client needs and provider availability.
