5-Eleven Hoops is a nonprofit organization based in Long Beach, CA, dedicated to promoting inclusion, empowerment, and wellness through adaptive sports and enrichment programs. We provide basketball, soccer, track & field, art, STEM, and wellness activities that bring together youth of all abilities—including neurodivergent and special-needs participants—in a safe, encouraging, and growth-oriented environment.Our team believes that every child deserves a space to move, connect, and belong. Pay: $25–$30/hour

Location: Salvation Army – Long Beach, CA (occasional programs in Compton or other sites)
Position Summary
The Program & Site Coordinator oversees day-to-day operations of 5-Eleven Hoops programs at the Salvation Army site, ensuring a safe, organized, and positive environment for staff, participants, and families. This role is ideal for individuals experienced in youth programs, special education, or behavioral support who enjoy leadership, logistics, and mentoring teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise Adaptive Coaches and on-site staff during scheduled sessions and camps.
- Coordinate attendance, scheduling, payroll submissions, and program logistics.
- Oversee equipment setup, storage, and facility use to maintain safety and efficiency.
- Support inclusive programming for participants of all ability levels.
- Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and community partners as needed.
- Model professionalism, problem-solving, and teamwork across all activities.
- Assist with one-day events, community outreach, and seasonal programs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with neurodivergent youth or special-needs populations (e.g., ABA, RBT, or education settings).
- Strong organizational and leadership skills; ability to manage small teams.
- Effective communicator with staff, parents, and volunteers.
- CPR/First Aid certification (preferred).
- Bilingual skills a plus.
Work Environment & Schedule
- PreferredAvailability: Tuesday–Thursday 1:30–7:00 PM, Saturday 10:00 AM–2:00 PM.
- Must be comfortable working in an active, youth-centered environment.
- Some administrative duties may be completed remotely.
