HQCV seeks a skilled and compassionate clinician to join a growing private practice. The ideal therapist is a committed Christian who knows how to integrate Christian Principles with Best Practices in Mental Health, enjoys working with all socioeconomic populations, is willing to become a complex trauma specialist, and is proficient in anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other mental health diagnoses. Must be willing to provide therapy in-office, remotely, and in-home as needed (if applicable).


New Opportunity: FT In-Community (IIC) Therapist Roles Available

We are currently expanding and hiring for full-time In-Community (IIC) to Private Practice Therapist positions. We are especially looking to add male clinicians to our team to meet the unique needs of our diverse clientele—though all qualified applicants are welcome to apply. These roles offer a pathway into private practice within our team for clinicians interested in long-term growth and flexibility. Note-taking and writing skills are essential for this role. We have the opportunity to make money outside of the office with assessments, training, and workshops. Must get along with others, have good communication skills, and have a teamwork mindset.

Preferred Experience:

We are seeking candidates with experience working with individuals, families, children, and those who have been affected by trauma. Two years of experience is a plus. Cultural competence—or a demonstrated willingness to work respectfully and effectively with diverse cultural communities—is also highly valued.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field from an accredited institution
  • Active provisional or full NJ license (LAC, LPC, LSW, LCSW, LMFT, PsyD, etc.)
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a mental health clinician
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices and ability to conduct assessments, individual/family therapy, and crisis intervention
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
  • Organized and self-motivated with the ability to manage time effectively
  • Commitment to ethical practice and quality client care
  • Willingness to undergo background checks per state/federal regulations

Salary

$60 - $80 per hour
