Overview:

We are seeking creative and compassionate Licensed Creative Art Therapist to join our growing Creative Arts Team, specifically in the domain of Art Therapy. The ideal candidate would be skilled in facilitating group interventions, along with individual interventions, for patients, residents and their families. Therapists will play a crucial role in our larger Therapeutic & Developmental Support Services team, ensuring quality family-centered care, alongside our clinical multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate scheduled group program for both our inpatient population as well as residents on our long-term care unit.
• Co-Facilitate group interventions within our larger Therapeutic & Developmental Support Services team (Therapeutic Recreation, Child Life and Music Therapy).
• Navigate a referral base approach to individual session outreach

Qualifications:

• Minimum one year of experience working in the pediatric setting in your designated area of expertise.

Education, Licensure, and Certification:

• Master’s Degree in Creative Arts, Art Therapy from an accredited school.
• Licensed as a Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT) and/or License eligible required.
• Art Therapy Credentials Board Certified (ATR-BC) helpful.

Physical Requirements:

• Standing, walking, stooping.
• Ability to transfer children and equipment.
• Ability to meet flexible scheduling demands and patient care needs.
