A contract opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to support student well-being and academic success in a dynamic school environment located in San Francisco, CA. This role focuses on providing comprehensive psychological services to students, collaborating with educators and families, and contributing to a positive learning atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual and group psychological assessments to identify students needs and strengths.
  • Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to support students social, emotional, and learning development.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to address student challenges and promote effective educational strategies.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute professional insights to enhance student support initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records of assessments, interventions, and communications in compliance with school policies and legal requirements.
  • Provide crisis intervention and consultation services as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and providing counseling services in an educational setting.
  • Strong knowledge of child development, learning disabilities, behavioral interventions, and mental health issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and school personnel.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in sensitive situations.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations related to special education and student services.
