Title: Behavior Technician

Overview:

Advanced Crisis Solutions (ACS) is a behavior analytic organization passionate about helping people with developmental disabilities between the ages of 5 and 59. Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a therapy that helps improve behaviors and skills in people with autism and other developmental disorders. It uses techniques like positive reinforcement to encourage good behaviors and teach new skills.

The Behavior technician is a key component in enhancing the quality of life of our clients who experience challenging behaviors using ABA principles. Services are provided in licensed residential facilities and family homes and may include interventions before, during, and after problem behavior. Our focus is on designing and implementing behavioral support plans to address behavior challenges, improve clients’ functional skills, and teach expected behaviors; all while creating a positive, fun, and safe environment.

We conduct mandatory monthly company training to facilitate the professional development of our employees. We use this time to improve industry skills and knowledge while encouraging team building, and growth.

Requirements

● Must be 18 years of age or older

● Must pass Professional Crisis Management - Practitioner 2 coursework provided by ACS within 60 days of employment

● Must pass a fingerprint clearance and sign a criminal record statement

● Must pass a health screening exam

● Must possess or be able to obtain CPR and First Aid training within the first two

weeks of employment provided by ACS

● Must have reliable transportation and up-to-date insurance

● Must have 6 month experience working with people with developmental disabilities

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour

Schedule:

● 8-hour shift

● Saturday availability
