Psychiatric Social Worker (ACSW/AMFT) – Child & Youth FS

Field-Based | Los Angeles, CA (Beehive Location)

Do you have a passion for helping children, teens, and transitional-age youth overcome trauma and mental health challenges? We’re looking for compassionate Associate Clinicians (ACSW/AMFT) to join our Child & Youth field team. This role is designed for those who want to make a lasting difference in the lives of young people while building a strong foundation for their clinical career.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide one-on-one therapy to children and youth ages 5–20, addressing issues such as trauma, PTSD, and behavioral health challenges.
  • Support transitional-age youth (up to 20 years old) who may present with more severe mental health concerns.
  • Deliver care in the community — visiting clients in homes, schools, or other supportive settings (mileage reimbursed).
  • Participate in crisis intervention, care coordination, and discharge planning.
  • Work as part of a highly collaborative team, where clients receive 2–3 weekly touches from different professionals (social worker, case manager, psychiatrist, etc.).
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute toward a weekly quota of 35 billable service hours.

Why You’ll Love This Role

  • Specialized Experience: Gain deep clinical experience working with youth and transitional-age clients in a high-touch, intensive care setting.
  • Career Growth: The skills you develop here will prepare you to confidently step into a wide range of future clinical roles.
  • Collaborative Culture: Join a supportive, team-oriented environment where client success and staff development go hand in hand.
  • Field-Based Impact: See firsthand the difference you’re making by working directly in the community.

What We’re Looking For

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Clinical Psychology.
  • Active California BBS registration (ACSW or AMFT required; license eligible encouraged).
  • Passion for working with children, adolescents, and transitional-age youth with complex behavioral health needs.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and crisis management skills.
  • Bonus: Bilingual in Spanish.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay Range: $30–$35/hr
  • Mileage reimbursement for field work.
  • Comprehensive training, supervision by an LCSW, and professional development opportunities.
  • Business casual work environment.

Schedule

  • Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • 30-minute lunch break
