As our Outside Sales Representative (Community Liaison), you will be responsible for building and maintaining referral relationships with hospitals, hospices, home health, assisted living communities, physicians, and other healthcare partners. Your primary objective is to increase community awareness of our services and generate qualified home care referrals.
Key Responsibilities
- Plays the integral role in helping Right at Home improve the lives of as many people as possible in our community.
- Develop and maintain referral relationships with healthcare professionals, case managers, discharge planners, and community organizations.
- Represent the agency in the community through scheduled visits, networking, outreach events, and local health fairs.
- Increases care hours, develops a profitable referral source pipeline, and gains market share.
- Provide education on agency services, intake process, and care capabilities.
- Work collaboratively with the care coordination team to ensure smooth referral transitions.
- Track outreach activities and maintain CRM or contact logs.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, privacy rules, and company policies.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, approximately 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (likely part-time to start)
- Occasional evenings/weekends for events, with advance notice
- Regular in-person visits required within Long Beach and surrounding areas; spending 80%+ of time outside of office
Qualifications
- 2+ year experience in home care, hospice, healthcare sales, or community outreach (preferred)
- Be available as required for on-call duty outside of normal office hours
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Self-starter with the ability to manage time and priorities independently
- Reliable vehicle, valid California driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance
- Familiarity with Long Beach healthcare landscape is a plus
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Compensation
