Pay: $2,700–$2,900/week | 40 hrs/week | Day Shifts (Mon–Fri)
Locations: Canon City, Pueblo, Sterling, Buena Vista
Contract: 13 Weeks | Option to Extend

Correctional Mental Health Counselor - LCSW / LPC Job Details:

• Provide individual and group counseling in correctional or forensic settings.
• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Document progress and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Support patients with substance use, trauma, and co-occurring disorders.
• Apply DSM-V diagnostic criteria to guide evidence-based treatment.

Correctional Mental Health Counselor - LCSW / LPC Qualifications:

• Active CO License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) OR Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
• 2 Years of mental health experience; corrections, forensics, and/or drug and addiction counseling experience preferred.
• Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
